My Credentials

I have created this online platform because I want to be able to DISCUSS serious issues regarding Black America. This only works if members of my audience regard me as someone worthy of civil discourse. People that know me personally, already know that I am worthy of civil discourse. So, how to get strangers to “know” me well enough to consider what I have to say?

To that end, I will be providing my “CREDENTIALS”! I will create a variety of posts and pages where I provide a record of my achievements, accomplishments and aspects of my life that define me as the person I am.

Higher Education

GA State University
Miami-Dade College
Florida Int'l University
Here I will tell about my trials and tribulations of pursuing “Higher Education”. If you’re not properly setup to pursue college, the journey will be very difficult and filled with setbacks! And I was NOT properly setup to pursue college!

In my late 20’s, it began to dawn on me that I was NOT earning good money! Certainly not enough to pay for the good life that I dreamed about! So people, whose opinions I valued, suggested I pursue a college degree in Information Technology!

U.S. Army

PFC Curry

82nd Airborne Division
The Army presented this young man with an endless stream of challenges to be met and overcome! I learned through ordinary and extraordinary life in the Army what a single man can accomplish and the awesome power of what a group of men working together (TEAMWORK) can achieve!

I credit the Army with molding me into a useful, strong, honorable man and a positive asset to society!

U.S. Air Force

JMC in USAF Blues
JMC CSO Tech School Kirtland AFB

I did well in the Air Force because I was in the right place at the right time! In the 1980’s and 1990’s, the airplanes were transitioning from analog to digital systems… in other words… computers!

My college major was Computer Information Systems which made it much easier to learn and understand all the new systems on my airplane.

As a thorough instructor and then flight evaluator, I was a valuable asset to my unit and the Air Force!
